Stacey Gregg is a writer of fiction and non-fiction, and she has worked extensively as a magazine editor. Gregg’s first non-fiction book, Undressed: New Zealand Fashion Designers Tell their Stories, was published in 2003, and Mystic and the Midnight Ride was the first in Gregg’s ‘Pony Club Secrets’ series, published in 2007. Gregg has since written a number of books in the ‘Pony Club Secrets’ series, set in the imagined Chevalier Point Pony club in New Zealand.

Stacy Gregg (born in 1968) is an author and a magazine editor.

Gregg was born in Melbourne and raised in Ngaruawahia and Auckland. Since 1988 she has worked as a feature writer for publications such as Cleo, Sunday Star-Times, Sunday magazine, Style Magazine, More Magazine, RTR Countdown and Fashion Quarterly where she currently works as the Editor-at-Large. She also established www.runwayreporter.co.nz which is theonline home of Fashion Quarterly.

In 2003, Penguin NZ published Gregg’s first non-fiction book Undressed: New Zealand Fashion Designers Tell their Stories.

Mystic and the Midnight Ride was the first in Gregg’s Pony Club Secrets series published by HarperCollins UK. The other published titles in the series are Blaze and the Dark Rider (2007), Destiny and the Wild Horses (2007), Stardust and the Daredevil Ponies (2008), Comet and the Champion’s Cup (2008) and Issie and the Christmas Pony (2008). Storm and the Silver Bridle and Victory and the All-Stars Academy were published in 2009 by HarperCollins. Pony Club Secrets is junior fiction, set in the fictional Chevalier Point Pony club in New Zealand.

Flame and the Rebel Riders, published by HarperCollins in March 2010, is Book 9 in the Pony Club Secrets series.
